Yip!!

I go all the time!! Out Westgate, bit far to catch up!

Normally you can check out when the movies are on on the Village Website.

The next 3 are: The Bucket List (tomorrow)
               PS I Love You (12th)
Run, Fat Boy, Run ( 19th)

They are $6.50 and you get a loyalty card which gets stamped each time you go and the 4th movie you attend is free. And they're at 10.00am each Wednesday during term time.

Hope that helps.

I see Cooper is 2 weeks older than Thomas, does he sit and last the time out ok? do you take pram etc?

I started going when he was about 6 weeks old I think, he would happily sleep thru then..........not now!

He normally feeds during it then either sleeps or plays on my lap or the seat next to me with his little buddy Jack who we go with. I also take toys. Some movies he "watches" I think he just likes the colours!

I don't bother with a pram, never have, too many stairs to go down. They have signs saying no prams, but there are always some in there.

I think hoyts also do some Mums and Bubs movies as well....should have info on their website.

Have always been meaning to go to a session, but didn't get around to it when she was younger and now there is no way that I could get her to sit still for 5 mins, let alone an entire movie.

Sylvia Park do them. I copied and pasted this for you Simone:

Please note that any prams brought to these session need to be stored at the front of the cinema under the screen for the duration of film. For safety reasons we are unable to have prams positioned in aisles or crossovers during the feature. We encourage parents to attend to infants in car seats or capsules that can be easily positioned on seats next to them at no cost.

Thomas is way to big for capsule and wouldn't stand for sitting in it for all that time anyway!

Just to add - I foind the sylvia park set up much better thant hte village one (at st lukes) after having been to both.

Bummed out that Lily is at a stage where it wouldn't be fair to make her try and behave througha movie anymore.

oooh, wonder if my 19 month old will sit through P.S. I love you?

mind you, isn't that what "mums and bubs" sessions are all about... so you can go to the movies and its okay for your babies/toddlers to be noisy & cry?

i think its such a great idea that they do these.

I went to infant sessions right up tho when Fay was about 7 months old, it was the only thing that kept me sane some weeks, so highly reccommend it. found towards the end tho that Fay was not happy to sit on my lap and just wanted to play, got bored and screamed for the whole way through Becoming jane, that remains the last movie I saw at the cinema
