Well I'd always said we'd go into pockets when Harry fitted the mediums, and I put one on him this afternoon (HC) and it fits!

So I was just wanting an honest opinion from people...

Which is better, honey child or fuzzibunz? And why?

Love happy heiny pockets. Like not having snaps, especially when Isla is at daycare, or being looked after by someone not so used to using snapped on nappies. They usually end up putting them on way too loose!

I haven't used HC but I love Fuzzi's. I have the dreaded "Mexico" Fuzzi's and I have had no problems with them at all. Now I don't use all that many I am sticking to my fuzzi's and looking at selling the rest.

Will have to go and check out baby harmony and joel-eze too.... and wigglebums...

Keep the suggestions coming!!

GO HONEYCHILD!!!!!!

There are SO many good points about the HC naps!

* More generous fit than a Fuzzi (Harry will fit them longer)
* Upper Wing snap - so no wing droop (makes the nappy leak)
* Drywick microfleece is better than the old FB microfleece as it draws moisture away from the skin faster
* HC inserts are more absorbent that the Fuzzi inserts
* HC offer a 30 day right of return if you really don't like them (Not many companies offer you that)
* 12 month warranty
* You'll be supporting KIWI MADE!!!!

Let me know if you have any other questions, you can email me mailto:toni.pressman-hyde@honeychild.co.nz - here

I really like Baby Harmony naps, they too have a generous fit and the rise is quite high too. I'm dissappointed with Joeleze though - gorgeous nappies but shocking wing droop!

What she said. HC rock. I have mexico fuzzis too, and I do like them LOTS, but I love the HC's BETTER, they rock and are super super absorbent and nice colours!!!

We've got HC's and Fuzzis and to be honest I think they're much of a muchness, both really good nappies.

I also heart the Happy Heiny's, they're my fave nappies and it sucks that I can't use them atm coz the gremlins just take them straight off, I have to put them in snaps to foil their striptease efforts. But roll on winter when they're wearing pants and they'll be back in their HH's!

I used medium USA-made Fuzzis on Leo from 5-16mths and LOVED them. But the larges aren't as good a fit, they are heaps bigger than the mediums and there is a real variance in sizes within the size. In a large I much prefer HC, although they are SO expensive (I imported my Fuzzis from the USA) and the inserts take longer to dry (and have gone really grey, whereas my Fuzzi inserts have stayed white).

I love Foxybots for nights as they are really waterproof, although bulkier for days (but look and feel gorgeous!!!).

Interesting to hear others comment that Baby Harmony are roomy, I've found ours to be quite small fitting. the gremlins are on the loosest snaps of their medium BH's and yet on their Fuzzis/HC's they're still almost on the tightest.

Thanks for all the info and opinions!!

Well the trial run of the Honeychild went well! And I looked at the rest of my wee 'stash' and realised he now fits the Tweedle and Ecobubs too... so we're trying them out as well.

So at the mo it now seems between HC and HH. I'm gonna get a Happy Heiny to try before I make my decision - a trip over the Snazzipants store I think!

This is the exact reason (well, one of the many, many reasons!) why we don't distribute FBs anymore! The sizing and quality was too inconsitent so we weren't happy to sell them on to our customers. It's such a shame because the old FBs (the ones I bought in late 2005) were perfect

Right! Off to email the Joeleze nappy people

Is there a website I can check out the honey child ones? I have never seen them.

I love my baby harmonys I can't stop buying them and the inserts are the best. Jack fits a medium quite happily. Hate my pocket change can never get the inserts to sit right and they end up poking out the top and back. Foxybots are the best for cuteness I always get loads of comments about them.

I would actually have to say the Fuzzi's over the HC's. I have had to stop using the small HC's as Sam can't fit them anymore and yet she is only on the second snap of the small fuzzis. They are just as good as each other in relation to performance, but with a wriggly baby 2 snaps per side is hard enough let alone trying to get a 3rd done up

RachandJack - www.honeychild.co.nz I think

Mum2Sam - Harry would be going straight into mediums (he fits them now.. sure he's got a big butt but they don't leak) so I guess they'd last a fair while longer than the smalls. Could I just not do up the 3rd snap?

Yeah the wriggly baby thing would be a good reason to go with Happy Heiny wouldn't it? And that it's easier for other people to know how to do up.

I guess the downside with them is that older babies can undo them. But then I was looking on one website and it said they could put snaps on them for $1 - just one on each side (the aplix is still there). I was wondering why on earth you would want that, then realised it's probably for that very reason. So I guess that's an option.

Right gotta get ready to go out (it takes so long these days!)

lol I found this as well, trying to get an extra snap done up is such a mission on Daniel esp since it's way out the side and he always rolls whichever side I'm trying to do up.

I think I've tried most nappies out there now

It's actually the old style that I have. I had the lady I bought them off in the USA fish out any old-style USA-made large Fuzzis and send them to me. I found that the mediums were inconsistent too but the difference seems to be more noticable in the larges.

Anyone found any inconsistency with HC sizing?

We find the snaps on Honeychild soo hard to do up. And thats without doing the extra one as we don't even bother.
We LOVE the original FB before they sent them to Mexico and stuffed them up.
LOVE Foxybots. They so neat

I love my fuzzis, both old style USA and the Mexico ones - only slight issue with the mexico ones in my stash is that they seem to be tighter around the legs, but only by one snap so it's just a case of doing them up a bit looser. No biggie! Haven't tried Honeychild, but am so happy with fuzzis I don't feel like I need to. Maybe you should buy one of each and see what you think?
I liked drybees too, until someone learned how easy velcro can be undone. Now it's snaps all the way for us!

Yep that's our website

And yep - mediums are definitely the most cost affective size. Caitlin went into her mediums at 5 months and is still in them with heaps of growing space

And about the 3rd snap. You don't have to do them up. If Miss C is in a particularly wriggly mood I leave them too
