i am getting cramps (quite bad) and spotting around the time of ovulation. do you think it is too early to suspect being pregnant? have never had this before. if its not pregnancy, not sure what else it would be?

If its around the time of ovulation, I wouldn't think your pregnant.

I think this for 2 reasons:
1. You would have started your cycle (af) 2 weeks earlier.
2. You cant be pregnant until after ovulation and implantation takes place.

Please correct me if I'm wrong anyone!

Some people get implantation bleeding, but obviously this isn't at ovulation time.

I suggest you get a check up. But they'll probably just say you have break through bleeding unless you have other symptoms/conditions which you haven't listed here.

Sorry, I'm not much help lol

Good luck!

I think both cramping and spotting can be signs of ovulation.

They can sometimes be sign of ovulation but not common I don't think. Is there any other medical reason for spotting/cramping, do you think?

I got cramps around what I assume was ovulation but never got spotting.

But if you are just ovulating you shouldn't be pregnant for the reasons Nefertiti mentioned.
