I highly recommend these if you don't have the space for both a cot and a basinette in the first few weeks.
The Cariboo Motion Sway basinette both fits inside your cot & has it's own stand. It hangs from 4 tethers which allow you to rock your baby to sleep. The stand is great if you are going away as you can fold it flat and put it in the boot of your car... -------------

I totally agree the best bassinet ever!! i have leant it to my sister and she loves it too, so easy for travelling... also makes transition to cot easier as we hung it inside cot for a few weeks then moved Luke into the cot. Highly recommended -------------
