Hmmm I think you can pop them in a non stick frying pan. I'd cook them slowly though to make sure they are cooked through.

Isla hasnt eaten much at all on a spoon since that age either. Give him a spoon to hold too so he can learn to use that,..Isla is still learning.
Try lamb/chicken Aria farm strips,..we cook a few for her at a time in a small fry pan with a bit of water in so they dont go brown or hard,..easier to eat for her. They are quick and easy to cook too. I still cut them up into little bits tho, after cooking, but the are much finer than mince.
Small bits of cooked potatoe, kumara, pumpkin, brocolli, cauli etc. I peel and chop the potatoe or kumara or pumkin into small cubes, then boil to soft, while steaming the broc/cauli on top.
Mixed frozen vege- the peas and corn are good- I find that the carot bits are a bit hard.
I just put them in a bowl an micowave. We buy the bags of frozen cauli/brocolli mix and just microwave a small portion for her for that night.
Hope some of that helps!

Isla only would eat fish finers if I broke it all up and took all the crumbs off,...so dont do them anymore! I used to still grill them,...but I would add a few more and eat them myself

lol so does Isla,...but she is gradually learning to get a bit on there herself. I still have a spoon too,...and somtimes can get a bit in first. She is happy sometimes to let me put something in her mouth with my fingers,..but only if she has tasted it already. Strange child!
Also I boil a sausage so that the skin comes off, and its soft,..then chop that into little bits too.
I always cook Isla enough for 2 dinners, so I only have to cook for her every second night. Often she will have some of the meat that we have had the night before,...such as bolonase mince(spelling?), and I just add more mixed veges to it,..and serve with brocolli(her fav) and potatoes or pasta on the side.
By about 12 months I think most babies are eating 'family meals' but Isla has food allergies,..so we adapt what we can from our meal for her, and add Isla friendly stuff to it, or cook her own seperate stuff.
I keep thinking of more stuff,...baked beans! Messy,...but who cares?!

I'll keep an eye on this thread, Daniel is taking less and less by spoon and wants to feed himself more and more and making the most lovely mess in the process.

Tyde is one and still making a huge mess at feeding times. The aria farm chips are really good, but just don't cook them too long as they get really dry!
I do cooked vegies (e.g. boiled potato, kumara, pumpkin etc.. (all in a big boil up pot) and chop into small bits and he can get most of those in by himself.. (but may not eat it mashed as MUMMY is doing it! :) )
Also a peice of steak.!! I always cut an end off (normally of DP's not mine! ;) ) and Tyde LOVES chewing on that. When I crumb our schnitzel I put a few bits aside for Tyde to chew / suck on.
He's a wee bit older than your babies, but also loves peas! (quite well cooked so they are soft).
:) fun eh!

Ethan loves Fish Fingers - I just cook then in the oven or a frying pan.
BUT, I was told that you should give them too much fish fingers because they contain mercury. I don't know how too much is though - Ethan has 3-4 once or twice a week.
