Hi everyone.
I know there's probably another thread to this effect...but I can't find anything.
Anyway. As you can see, I'm due in two days. But since about 2am this morning I've been getting regular lower back pains.
They last about 30 seconds, gathering in intensity, every 3-5 mins. It's not so painful that I'm in agony...just a bit of discomfort.
I know this is normal for posterier babies, but on Monday (and every weekly visit for the last 4 weeks) she was anterior and from what I can feel she's still anterior - but I'm no expert.
Is this a sign of impending labour?

Sounds like it to me. Isla was the right way around, but I felt my whole labour in my lower back and buttom,....the whole thing felt like I needed to poo!
Good luck!

It's probably a sign things are limbering up :) I had dreadful lower back pain during labour. It doesn't necessary mean labour is about to start but it is a sign your body is preparing. They sound kinda rhythmic so I'd call your LMC and let them know anyway.
All the best!
