jade-emma 17 months
jade-kayla 3 years 10 months
emma-kayla 2 years 4 months
kayla-this bubs will be about 21 months
i LOVE the 17 month gap, not so fussed on the 2yr 4 month gap
the bigger ones are good cause the older kids (well jade) enjoys helping out with kayla but they arent close like jade and emma are who play together all the time happily and are pretty close development wise.

We will have 2y 4m. I think it would have been better to have had this baby when Han was about 20m. But will let you know how it goes soon!

I have been wondering about this as well- been trying to decide if we would like to have a 3 or 4 yr gap between Ella & our second. Would be interested to her how people with a 3 year gap are finding it.

We had 22 months and it was just about right, Paris wasn't too crazy when baby was born, but she wasn't still at the needing to be carried stage for too long when i was preg either. and now the girls, despite their love hate relationship (fuelled by very different personalities) are great mates, and the clothes go from one wardrobe to the next without too much lag-between as well - saves on storage.

Rico & Gia - 2 yrs 3 mths
Gia & Jett - 22 mths
So not much difference, roughly 2 yrs. I would've liked a bigger gap between Gia & Jett (like another yr), but Jett was an oopsey daisy .

Kiya to Josiah - 4y 5w
Josiah to Xavier - 18 months
Xavier to Jackson - will be 18 months
Actually, Josiah's the only planned one there! We didn't want the gap between Kiya (previous relationship) and her siblings to be too big. We've been aiming for 20-24mth gaps, only for me to be already pregnant by the time we were going to start TTC.

We have 3 yrs 3 months between the girls- I love it. I loved that I got those first 3 years one on one with Charlotte and because she's now at nursery 5 mornings a week it means I get alot of alone time with Kate. Charlotte was really aware of the pregnancy and understood what was happening- she was past that tantrum phase, already in a normal bed and we had the toilet training out of the way too.

We have 20 months, for us it was either close, like they are or a bigger gap, like 3 years +.
While the small gap is all good now, they play together and its much easier, neither of them are very good sleepers...
I found it really, Really REALLY hard being pregnant (and very, very sick the whole way through) with a just turned one year old who didn't walk.
Also, I felt (and still do feel) really bad that I missed out on all the rough and tumble games, or just playing in general cos I was pregnant and just too sick to enjoy him, and I will never get that back. Nor, the one on one time with him.
It was also really hard having a newborn and a just going into the terrible two's toddler, I felt then that baby missed out alot cos I was always putting her down to deal with him.
In saying that, though, he has always been really, really good and loving with Charlotte. We have never had any jealousy issues with him, I guess he was so little, its just like she has always been here. It's also good now, like I said at the start, they play together nicely and hopefully that will carry on.
I don't know if I would choose to have them so close together if we were going to have more, though, it was just waaaay too hard, the pregnancy (and the tiredness) and the first 4 months.

that's one of the main reasons why we were thinking of having 3 years- really enjoying being able to spend one on one time with Ella and would love to be able to do the same with the 2nd. In saying that I can see the advantages of having 2 close together so that they can play together. Guess it depends on what works for you and your family

I'm feeling like that at the moment with the gremlins, I'm not even supposed to be lifting them let alone playing games and stuff with them, and it's been hard being so sick. I feel like they're missing out on having mummy 100% like Maya did.

We will have 20 months between DD and this next baby, once it is born.
I'm struggling a little at the moment as DD isn't walking yet and I'm getting to the point where carrying her everywhere is hurting my back and getting uncomfortable, but that's what strollers and ergos were invented for!
I'm looking forward to having two kids close in age, my brother and I were 22 months apart and we are very close, so I hope my kids have that same experience.

I'm not really all that worried about the age gap... so long as it isn't longer than 4 years! I would've loved a newborn when Seb was around 1 year... he's getting a bit into those cranky toddler tantrums, but at least he can walk well now.

We are aiming to have about 5 years between them. That way Char will be at school - DH will become a stay at home Dad with number 2 until it is nearly a year old (I am going to be taking about 4 months off but then coming back to work).
Well thats this weeks plans anyways!

I have a six month old and we're TTC at the moment, so if it all works out this month then there'll be about 15 months between them.
I'm a bit nervous about it, but my cluckiness is winning over reason, so hopefully we'll survive! I'm expecting the pregnancy and the first year to be tough and after that hopefully it'll be easier.

I have 17 months and feel the same as fattarts. While my pregnancy was a dream, I have had a really tough time with the lack of sleep and both kids needing a lot of attention. Theres only so much you can give and I hate the constant feeling like I'm doing a real half arse job when I could be doing a great job if there was only one. I hate how I missed al lot of Jack because I've been so tired and how poor Caprece hardly ever gets a lot of one on one because Jack is always getting into trouble. I feel like I'm only just coming into the light now
In saying that I love how they get on (most of the time) and how Jack coped so well and doesn't get jealous. I wouldn't change them but if I could go back I would probably of had a bigger gap.

I've got:
Thomas 9
Blake 6
Quin who will be a week off 1 when his sister comes
so there will be 11 1/2months between the younger 2. To say that I am nervous is an understatement and like some of the other mums I feel like I haven't gotten to enjoy Quin and I feel like he hasn't had the full benefits of me being home with him
