Has anyone out there made their own maternity skirts? The skirts in the shops are either so blah or so expensive. I'm a sewing fan but am struggling to find any decent patterns for preggy skirts. Any tips welcome.

If you just took an a-line skirt or a circle skirt, you can add an elastic waistband. A waistband made from ribbing and elastic maybe. Depends on if you like wearing things over or under your bump

I've bought up a couple of patterns lately, partly for me and partly my sister who preggers as well, tho lives at the other end of the country.
Burda have quite a few maternity patterns, and they are half price at the moment (at most good fabric shops: fabric vision here in chch), bought about 3 of them... more trousers and tops but they had a couple of skirt and dress ones as well
