How soon after conception can you get a positive result? I've done a test, ok 2 tests.... and both have been negative, but I wonder if it's too early to tell yet? Conception would have been last Sunday so 8 days ago, but already I have sore boobs, nausea and funny cramping. If my memory serves me correctly it was almost the same when I was pregnant with Joshua....

And for the record - it was a broken condom, after which I took the ECP, then promptly got a vomiting and diahorrea bug that night so rendered the ECP useless.

Eeeeek.

How pregnant were you when you got your BFP with Joshua? That could be an indication as to whether it's too early for you or not.

For me, I couldn't get a BFP until I was 6 weeks pg so the tests don't work that well for me. Unfortunately, the only way to really know would be to wait it out and test in a few more days... which would be hard I know!

i got a very very very faint test that was positive a little after ten mins at 8 DPO..and got darker the days after that..(on time) my friend had the same thing happen....broken condom and ECP and still stayed pregnant as well.. :( !!

but I'm not sure whether to wish you luck or not:) hopefully you find out soon.. I'd wait( i know it is awful) and pee every morning if you have pee tests to see what happens..

ooh Clare!!  I got a *faint* BFP at 9dpo this time around, was kinda one of those keeping looking at it is it really there ones lol.  I cant remember any symptoms, just a feeling I guess?  I'd test again first thing in the morning, the quickcard tests that you can get from the supermarket are good & not too expensive.  I expect an update in the morning!!

with jack, i tested the day before AF which would've been 3wks after we started TTC and got the BFN...a week and a half later...BFP

with charli, i got a BFP the day of AF being due, which was exactly 2wks after we started TTC

good luck, i hope it works out how you want it too...

if it is a BFP....that's one determined little bubba!!

Sorry everyone! Having internet issues today but seem to be cleared up now...

Ok, so did a test this morning, still negative, but according to my preggy book about now would be when implantation bleeding would take place.... and I had some very light spotting this morning.....

Oh Claire thats no good. If it is another MC I would see you dr as I am sure you can get refered to a clinic in AK for reoccuring MC and they help you out when you do get pg again.
