Yum yum! I've been buying the jam for a while, it is the only jam I know of (apart from Barkers) that lists the fruit as the first ingredient, instead of sugar. It is delicious!! I've been trying out the relishes too, and so far all of them are really yummy! Well worth paying another $1 or so.

Sorry, it's spelt Anathoth lol

Yep, that is the only jam that I will buy, it is a bit more expensive, but worth it.

beetroot relish....mmmmm.
i know that anathoth uses the edmonds cokbok recipes for everything - the only difference being that they use different varieties of fruit to produce the best jams, etc.

Love their pickles but I find their jams too sweet.
I used to like Barkers jams I think it was peach and passion fruit but my latest favorite jam is the new reduced sugar Apricot Jam by Craigs (40% less sugar than their regular jams) it's a bit tangy which I love.
I'm more a Marmalade girl really.

Anathoth has now been bought by Barkers jams. They are now buying their berries in China as well as NZ. To my tastes it is definately not as good as it used to be.

Yes, I'm not a jam lover but my husband likes it. He has always reminisced about the blackberry jam his Grandma used to make and so I bought some Anathoth blackberry ham and he says it's just like his Grandmas recipe. So that's pretty good I guess!

I've finished school remember so I get to swan around eating whenever I want. I don't even think I managed breakfast that day I was out of bed though... surely that counts for something! hehe
