Whenever I bend over, I get this pain in my belly button/ placenta. Am I trying to do too much?! Can't even bend down to get the icecream out of the freezer!! Anyone know why this is happening, feels like I am overstretching! I am going to see the MW on Wednesday so will ask her then, but thought I would ask on here now.

Not 100% sure but I think there are some ligaments that attach around the belly button area so it could be those. It might also be to do with you abnominal muscles, mine seperated during pregnancy and the physio showed me by getting me to stick my finger in my belly button and feeling the gap, so perhaps could be that. Apparently it happens alot to pregnant women, it never repairs and is a damn fine excuse for never doing crunches, but apart from that doesn't matter much.

bummer about not being able to get the ice cream out

Haha I just tried to put my finger in my belly button, fat chance in that happening! Might have to move the icecream to the upper level!!

I had this too, when I was pg with Kryssi. It's stretching but it's soooo uncomfy!! Felt like I was gonna split - there is an old thread I started about it back then, if you have the time to look for it. It'll be about a year old.
