This is so embarrassing!
Has anyone else tried examining their cervix to monitor ovulation?
I read about it on baby4you and have tried it this cycle, it gave me a real good idea of when I would OV. Usually I would use and OPK until CD13 but because of what my cervix was doing I did one yesterday and it was positive, if I had waited I probably would have thought I didn't OV this cycle.
OK so this is way TMI but I found in really interesting writing down what my cervix was doing each day, it gave in such a clear picture of what was going on. Not to mention I had no idea what my cervix looked like let alone felt like! I can't believe something so tiny can open to 10cm during labour! No wonder it hurts so much!

On baby4you it explains how to find and things like that, I reckon it's worth a try if you OV at different times each cycle.

Hi Helen, yep i do, every day in the shower, as i dont use a OPK. It's a bit wierd at the start, it's amazing to see whats going on in there, and how it changes through the cycle. What I like about it is being able to tell that that your period is coming..... but would rather it wasnt..lol.

I tried it once but couldn't work out what was what and what was supposed to be changing so I gave up!

Yay! I'm not the only one! The website said what it was ment to do leading up to OV but is it meant to do something different if you are pg? I only did it up to OV cause that's all I read about. I'm a bit clueless really, I had no idea where my cervix was up until a few weeks ago!
