When I went to the toilet today I noticed I had some pinky tinged mucus on the tp.  Im so scared that I am having another m/c. I have to go and have bloods tomorrow thursday and Saturday to see if my hcg is rising. I havent had sore boobs this time around and now Im thinking I dont feel pregnant, apart from being super tired and feeling a bid seedy some days and a bit light headed.

This is so unfair!!

Try not to worry. Its really really common for ladies to spot when they are pg.

Did you know that the risk of having 2 miscarrages in a row is apparently really slim!

Yeah Ive heard/read that, but its just so hard not to worry when you see pink on the tp, and knowing that lead to my m/c last time just scares the hell out of me  I havent had any more since 4pm when I went loo. SO its a waiting game I guess.

Keeping everything crossed for you Sheza. In thinking though, if you had not done the early test.. would you probably only just be getting the news of being preg.. ie, it could be implantation bleeding which usually happens about when your period would have kinda been due, approx 10 days post conception? hugs and i am sure that everything will be all good for you this time around.

Umm well Im 5 weeks 1 day according to my midwife so I think inplantation would have happened when I was 4 weeks, AF was due a week ago.

I havent had anymore bleeding since 4pm so thats a huge relief, so hopefully it stays this way.

Oh Sheza, I was hoping your post wasn't going to be bad news. Fingers crossed the spotting settles down & you have nothing to worry about. It's "good" that you're going to get your hcg levels tested so at least you'll know exactly what's going on.

Best of luck

Thanks Sally Belly, I havent had any more spotting since 4pm and it was ust the once so Im hoping it was just one of those random bleeds. It was a bit different to when I bleed last time I was pregnant, this time it was just a pinky tinge in some CM..and the sort of nothing after that. I just want to get my hcg levels back so I know if I can relax or prepare for the worst.

I asked this on the other thread, but did you and you DF BD last night or the night before? Because things are so sensitive, that can often lead to some slight pinkish spotting.

Whatever caused it, I hope it stays away.

(((Big hugs sweetie!)))

Fingers crossed for you Sheza! I had the same the day after I found out I was pregnant with the gremlins, I thought I was miscarrying again and was furious with the friend that made me test coz had I not tested I would have just assumed it was AF. But then it turned out to be a storm in a teacup, a tiny bit of spotting in some CM, and low and behold, twins! And apparently a really high percentage of twin pregnancies have implantation bleeding.

You can also have implantation bleeding up until about 10-12 weeks as the placenta develops and attaches to the uterine wall.

Yeah! That's what my bleeding was due to, my GP thinks. I had bleeding for about 10 days and went for a scan to find out everything is normal. Thank goodness, my bleeding stopped on Friday. I had bleeding with Gina too and (obviously) everything turned out OK.
Sending you loads of sticky vibes and hope the blood tests go well.

Hehe, the Panty check. I was paranoid and did this through out my pregnancy too :)

Sheza, just wanted to reassure you that the same thing happened to me when I was pregnant with Sam. I had miscarried the last baby around the same time and when I saw the blood on the TP I thought that was it for sure! I still remember my heart racing in my ears and the sinking feeling. I went out to my DH and said 'here we go again'. Anyway it turned out to be implantation bleeding for us and we now have a healthy, happy (well most of the time) daughter. Lots of sticky baby dust coming your way

Well I havent had anymore bleeding at all. So thats great, Ive just got back from my blood test, I had to give a urine sample aswell...anyone know why they would ask for one?

I have an appointment to see my midwife at 10.30 aswell so Im sure she will be pleased to know that I havent had anymore bleeding since that first time yesterday  And also I woke up at about 5am this morning feeling sick, almost like a hungover sick, and I feel a bit yuck still now, so thats gotta be a good sign right! And the sides of my boobs feel tender when I push on them.

Morning Sheza, glad to see your night went ok and everything is as it should be.
I also had a little bit of pinky CM this morning, but think that may be from the special cuddles last night.
Whatever happens with me now, seems to be out of my hands so I just have to go with it.

Posted By: Shezamumof3
Date Posted: 09 October 2007 at 8:48am

Yeah thats the first thing my midwife asked me was did I have sex, bust I hadnt so yah. But Im sure your will be from special cuddles Laurie. My bleeding last time when I m/c wasnt in any CM, it was just watery blood and it went pink, to brown to dark brown to red and then dark red when I had the m/c. The CM in early pregnancy is the mucus plug forning right?
