Firstly I am so much more relaxed about pregnancy now..which is great...two things just happened that i wanted to check..

first went number 2's(sorry if TMI) and when i wiped there was a tiny tiny speck of blood(and it was a little sore) I'm not constipated but haven't been eating a lot of fibre..def. came from number 2 part not number 1..so i assume that is ok?

And two was at work today and squatted down to get something and felt pressure....stood up and felt a bit uncomfortable..like if a tampon was in the wrong place(so sooooory if TMI) and then everything was fine..no pain no anything else..just wanted to make sure that's ok too...still have all the symptoms and bubs is fluttering away a lot..although and that brings me to my third question it's mostly during the afternoon..and you guys say you mostly have bubs move at night and in the morning..am i weird:) thankyou in advance..please know I'm not worried bout these things just want some general advice and reassurance....man it's tough being prenant the first time:) !

Can't really help with queston 1 and 2, but I'd say that Q 3 is totally normal! At 18 weeks, the baby still has so much room that you wont be feeling all of the movements it is making, once you get further along, then you'll feel them at all kind of random times

#1 you might have haemorroids but i'm unsure how you would know but one of the other ladys might. I once bled from there but didn't ask midwife so unsure what it was but I suspect it was a wee bit of constipation.

#2 sorry can't help there

#3 Yeah thats fine that baby moves in the afternoon, the reason babys move at night and morning is because its when you are generally being still so baby kicks away, but when you move around baby gets rocked to sleep so doesn't kick.

#1 Nothing to be concerned about unless it continues, and it's nothing to do with pg.

#2 Might have been something moving around, probably just soft ligaments when you get up/down etc.

#3 Most mums feel babies move most when they are resting - which is usually in bed at night/morning. Moving at any time of day is good!

i guess being a preschool teacher and pregnant I am quite still in the afternoon as the kids are generally outside and I am sitting talking etc to them..so maybe that's why.. yeah as I said with the first two I'm not worried...i read somewhere they are normal just wanted to see if other people had them too:)

It's nto regular movement but the days when i do notice it's the mid afternoon or occassionally at night:)

# 1 sounds like haemarrhoids...perhaps get yourself onto metamucil/bran/some other fibre on a permanent basis as if you have haemarrhoids now, this early in your pregnancy, its only going to get worse as bubs places more pressure 'down there' (they can prolapse on you - speaking from experience!). Also, might pay to keep an eye on your iron levels as if this becomes a regular thing, even that sort of blood loss can lead to low iron levels. Usually the bleeding is accompanied by pain passing motions...have you experienced that? If so, you can get a really good cream from the chemist (without a script) called proctosedyl which will clear them up before they get too bad.

#2 could possibly have something to do with your pelvic floor muscles...are you doing your exercises...really important now and forever more *sigh* (yay to being a woman, eh?!)

#3 as long as you are getting 10 movements or more a day, it doesn't matter WHEN you get them, as long as you get them

Good luck, pregnancy - aint it great!

I can answer #1 having crohns - alot of the time you canjust give your anas a rip when having a poo nothing to worry about and normally doesn't happen the next time you go. Considering you are pregnant and room is getting faught over in that area it could be that your bowel is a little bit sensitive. and also pushing that area down more.

yep can also be hemarodys (or howeva you spell it) or piles just keep an eye on it if it happens everytime you go.

#2 yeah pelvic floor and once again getting heavier down there. Or just getting up there wrong way (or different)

#3 My #1 was a nite mover #2 was all day but quieter on the night #3 more afternoon and early evening and early morn. So it can be any time of day normally its when you are settled and not so active you can feel bubs.

sure most of this has been said before.

kawwww I can answer your #1 question and give you some recommendations to relieve this. I've had wicked haemoroids the whole way through my pregnancy. I have lost quite alot of blood at times through my rear passage over the last few months, it has never worried me, but sometimes it is quite alot of blood. My Mum suffered the same during pregnancy, so inevitable that I may suffer from it too!

What has cured it for me on advise from the midwife is taking Benefibre, its a totally natural product. It is a powder you disolve in water and it has no taste or texture (unlike metamusil). Since the day I started taking this I have been completely back to normal with not one bowel motion involving any blood at all.

If you speak to your m/w she will probably advise you that she requires everything to be as normal as possible with your bowel motions especially as you get closer to giving birth.

Sorry if this is way TMI, but from my experience, mine started out as yours did and just got totally out of control!

You just get it from the chemist. My m/w just said that you need to have normal bowel movements as during birth you don't really want to be constipated or have the opposite if you know what I mean with all the action going on down there!

I think also with the pushing, if you have haemoroids or issues to begin with, the pushing can make them much worse or cause them to prolapse. Don't ask how I know.
