All of a sudden things are coming out the washing with horrid looking orange, purple or green (depending on fabric colour) splodges on them!! I'm not using anything else on the clothes and have been using Next Generation since Andy was born with no problems at all. ANY SUGGESTIONS????? Of course my new best pants got splodged and Andys neat McDreamy t shirt

Something hiding in it underneath the bowl bit? I'll have a look. Don't know what would have that much dye though. And is different colours. Black things going purple and orange and green/blue things going white.

Just been hanging up Andys clothes. A brand new PP t shirt has been got too

Maybe try doing an empty hot wash to clean your machine a bit??

Sounds like bleach, coz black goes orange when you bleach it and white goes kind of greeny/purply in patches. You haven't washed anything that's been in contact with bleach in with your washing?

2nd what emma said, I was thinking the same thing while I was reading your post. Do you wash with hot/warm water and have powder directly on clothes?

I've never used bleach . Mainly use cold water but use hot on the nappies when they need it. I put the powder on top of the clothes - but have been doing this forever Am too scared to wash my favourite top

I was thinking more like work clothes or rags with bleach on them ending up in the machine with the clothes?

Try running an empty hot cycle to clean everything out maybe?

Does your machine have a powder dispenser or anywhere you can put the powder where it doesn't come into direct contact with the clothes (before washing starts)?

Yep, the bit that pops off the top is for fabric softener or stuff like Canesten - I just take that off and put the powder down the cylinder bit.

There doesn't seem to be any new sploges but then I am a wee bit behind in the folding up - just for a change . I've started putting the powder down the centre

It is always best to put the powder directly in the dispenser in your machine as direct contact to the clothes from the washing powder can have a devastating effect on your garments. Even when handwashing it is reccomended that the powder is dissolved before the garments are added to the wash.

Hopefully this will help with your problem, and hopefully its all sorted now.

Best of luck!
