Hey all. Mel (Melln) texted me to let me know that her little bundle of joy has arrived from the stork.
Briahna Robyn was born at 1.16pm Tuesday 28th of August after a 5 hour labour. She weighs 8lb and a half oz. Comments from Mum: "She is awesome" NB: May have already been announced but I just heard from her today. ------------- http://lilypie.com">

i mentioned this in the due in august thread cos she texts me 2hours bubs was born but this is a really nice idea to have an actual thread for her , she'll be stoked
Shes doing well, at botany, says Briahna is amazing and she cant stop looking at her,awwwww

Not too bad. I mean i hated the whole thing and im glad its over. But it could have been worse. Once i finally got down to the delivery suite they broke my waters at around 8:30am. My midwife said the really good contractions didnt start till about 10:30 and Briahna was here at 1:16. I had pethidine. I wanted an epidural but the MW said that theres no point cause the labour was so quick. I spewed too it was gross. Then i had the gas towards the end and sucked that back hard out heheh. They were saying imight have to go to the OR for them to stitch me up, cause she tore some place that was not good to tear  (something about controlling poo and what not.. lol sorry tmi!!). Ha ha. But then after having my legs up in the stirrups and 2 doctors and 2 MW's looking up there they said i could just get the stitches done then.
