I am trying to find some groovy wall letters to decorate Rohan's nursery but can only find small ones in the shops in Christchurch - all the decent ones seem to be on American websites.

Anyone got any ideas where I may be able to find them?

I am not sure what type you are after but I was in Freedom today and they have cool fabric letters (upper case) that can be freestanding or put on the wall.

Hi Tricia, it sounds as if you're sorted but I've just bought some letters from trader dave2nandar on trademe. They sell both upper & lower case letters & they're really cheap at $1.50 or $2.00.

Wow! I just had a look at your website and they are very cool!

I'd love to get some but would they be OK if they got wet? (Our front porch is covered but in extreme weather it can get wet)

Thanks so much for your lovely compliment :) Yes, if you use something like the Selley's hard as nails product so it seals out moisture from the back. The front is totally sealed. The heatbaking makes it like a car finish... really sleek. I spent ages looking for letters and cool things that weren't too fussy for my kids' rooms. Yet still looked slick. Hence starting this business :)... alternatively, for an extra $15, we can do the back so it's totally watertight.

Thanks so much for your link - your products are fantastic!! I've tried to make my own but have remembered why I didn't do well at art at school now:)

I'll make sure to tell our Plunket group about you as they are very very cool - not only for baby's room either!

You're sure to have a successful product there for sure. What are they made from?

Thanks Tricia. They're made from mdf however are sprayed and then heatbaked which is what makes them so cool. To think I knew nothing about heatbaking before all this :) Heatbaking really locks in the colour so that you can spray and wipe it... great for wiping off those grubby prints!!!

and also for wiping off the grunge off the "eat" over your elements :)

I'm having a ball as I love design and arty stuff. Have had lots of interest from shops however, their markup is amazingly high so I want to stick to the web as I can keep the prices affordable.

Thanks for passing my details on :)
