I’m almost 20 weeks pregnant but despite reaching out to several midwives I have not been able to find one willing to take me on due to my 23rd December due date, each has stated they are on holiday at that time and can’t help.
So I’m wondering about what I need to prepare for in regards to a birthing plan, as to whether or not I consent to vitamin K shot and how to prepare in terms of on the day I go to my local hospital having to inform the staff that I won’t be breastfeeding as I know some have had issues with acceptance of formula feeding at birth decisions. I will be expressing colostrum prior to birth to give baby. My sister will be accompanying me on the day for support but I know There are a lot of decisions for birth plans including pain relief options etc and just am hoping for some advice
