Hi
My 5 month old son is going through teething at the moment and this morning I have to take him to get his next vaccinations (fun!). I've tried giving Daniel Pamol with a syringe a couple of times for his teething but he doesn't seem to swallow it and lets it dribble out - he must be one of the only babies I know who doesn't like it!
I'm not looking forward to today as he is already grumpy with teething and then with his vaccinations also.
Does anyone have any suggestions of getting him to take the Pamol?

Thanks
Philippa

you can get a dummie type thing with a little bottle on the otherside that you put medicines in and they suck it like a dummie, (you can get them from the pharmacy, i think tommee tippee do them) or maybe you could try it in a bottle with a little bit of cool water? or maybe luke warm water, thats how i had to get Eden to take pamol for a while, then she decided that she liked it

Good luck and i hope your son starts to take pamol soon!

We had the same trouble with Ella, and ended up using the orange flavour pamol - she didn't prefer the taste, but as it's around double the strength there was less of it to fight over in each serving.

We had this problem. All I did was stick a finger in the side of his mouth, tip the pamol in and keep it there until he swallowed, I used my finger to make sure he can't stick his tongue back out and he's lying on his back so eventually he got the hint that to get mummys finger out he had to swallow lol

no help with the pamol but you could always just put off the vaccinations till he is not so grumpy with his teeth.

Spencer is like this with pamol as well, I pin him down and force it in. If you squirt a little bit in then when he sticks his tongue out to spit it out squirt the rest on the back of his tongue
