your thoughts please
Starting saturday night i got pain around my right kidney area which started to travel to the front of my bump also found it rather difficult to breathe. was feeling really tired sunday morning but pain was minimal. Sunday afternoon it returned to the point i really struggled but just wanted to get home as we were in dunedin had another crap night last night and today the pain has been coming and going. Have left message for Mw to ring me but just wondering is it just everything stretching am i stressing over what is probably nothing? Has anyone else had anything simmilar? thanks

Umm I would be ringing her back or your back up MW! It could be nothing but then back pain can be a sign of prem labour. Get yourself checked out.

in my first pregnancy i had pain around my kidneys (kinda like lower back pain) i rang my mw at the time and was told to take some panadol. Next day i decided to go to the Dr as mw said it was probably just a sore back (could of hurt it at work she said) anyway turns out i had a major kidney infection and was addmitted to hospital for a week. I was 28weeks preg at the time.
I to would be getting some answers even if its nothing better to get checked out i say. And if ur mw just fobs u off go to the Dr.

Did you hear in the end? I wonder if it is a UTI or kidney infection... I haven't had either so I don't know what they feel like, but around the kidneys sounds way too high for early labour, at least!

Yup its a kidney infection.... on some antibiotics and scan on thursday. Thank god its not early labour!!!!!

what time is your scan?  I have a scan at 9 or 9.30 (must find out) in Clyde.
