SOCIAL STIGMA DURING PREGNANCY: THE IMPACT OF MATERNAL AGE? You are being invited to take part in a research project on the experiences and social stigma of mothers below twenty and above 40 years of age. This study is part of a Dissertation at the University of Waikato and has been approved by the Psychology Research Ethics Committee.
WHAT IT INVOLVES: In this study, you will be asked to participate in a one on one interview where you are able to express your experiences and thoughts in a safe and non-judgmental environment. General themes covered during the span of the interview include: Experience, Timing, Prenatel Care, Attitudes towards Pregnancy, preganancy outcome, values and beliefs, life pressures, parenting, social stigma: construction, responses and coping mechanisms. Each interview will take approximately 45-60 Minutes
