NT scan needed and in the wrong city

Hi, looking for some advice here.

I'm 11 weeks preg and was planing on getting the NT scan and 12wk blood tests next week.

I'm supposed to be seeing my MW monday to get the paper work (I've actually booked the scan already to get a convenient time slot)

My sister who lives in a different city than me is terminal and the Dr today said she's down to the last days. Clearly I can't go home this weekend as planned, therefore can't see the MW or get the scan.

What do I do?

you have until 14 weeks to get the scan they should be able to move you to another time. Your midwife may be able to fax you the blood test form or she may be able to get a midwife near where you are to get the scans.

Your MW should be able to fax the referral to the scan place that you get it done at (I would get it in the city where your sister is if your going to be staying longer than 3 weeks), or pick up the refferal before you go and try and get it done now?
