For those of you who have heavy wetters...what sort of night time nappy do you use?

Im a bit nervous about using a cloth at night and currently I use a sposie with a wooly sort of cover thing, but he still manages to wet through.

I use one of my naps with a woolen soaker over top. Tons of hemp inside - have got it down to 15 layers of hemp, 3 of microfibre... but at one stage we were using more than that lol. The inserts are saturated but the bed and his butt are both dry in the morning which is the main thing! I don't think I need the soaker anymore but I love using it as a safe guard.

I have an ecobubs too as lots of people have said they were good for night time but Daniel pees through those, all the sides get saturated.

I've tried a couple of fitteds too but he pees through those as well.

I don't get where all the pee comes from!!!

I usually use pockets but my son has also turned into a heavy wetter recently so I've just 'invested' in a Designer Bums hemp fitted nappy & merino wool cover. I'm yet to try them out but I did have a good look around and these nappies seem to only have good reviews and with a bamboo booster (also sold through DB) they're supposed to be a really good night nappy. If you look on Trade Me, username 'designerbums' or just search Designer Bums you'll find them.

Before that I had great success with a Foxybots minky pocket stuffed with a Nix-Kidz hemp fleece flat (2 layers trifolded) and a Foxybots microfibre/hemp trifold on top.

I don't know how heavy the gremlins wet, but tonight is their first night trying out their new Aussienana soakers with a fitted. Will be interesting to see how it goes.

i have a DB wool cover that i am going to get rid of. its a bit boyish for little miss madam... its two layers as opposed to one and not knitted so you might feel more secure with that...

Excellently! I must admit to being a sceptic, but they were bone dry this morning, woohoo! Go the soakers! Might have to order them some more!

Hmmmmm, makes me think I better pull out all the soakers I got my Mum to knit and finally get around to lanolising them! Considering Rohann will be too big already for the first size knitted and she hasn't ever worn them Don't tell my Mum!!!
