Topic: Nets Posted: 25 September 2008 at 3:39pm |
Does anyone know where I can get a nice decent Mosquito net for the cot? The bugs get pretty bad out here.
Also, has anyone used them? Are they more of a pain than anything else? I could use the plug in mozzie things but the nets look nice.

I used one when she was a newborn as we get really big bad mosquitos! I think for memory I got our one at Spotlight. We used it loads last summer and it also looks quite funky, although now it is tied up over her cot as Lauren prefers to chew it

They are designed for cots I think they are about $40- $100 I know big price difference but there are a few different designs, colours patterns etc.

Bed Bath and Beyond have them in Chch - not too expensive either.
I think they look great above the cot (and of course, great for stopping pesky insects) but DH won't let me get one (kinda hoping we may get some insects so I have an excuse to get one!)

We were given one as a gift, which said on the box it was for a cot, but it must have been for a portacot as that is the only thing it fitted over. So just check the measurements before purchasing. Sorry, not sure what store our one came from.
