Hi, I'm hoping someone is online now who knows the answer to my question! Lol...

Am about to do dreamfeed but have only managed to express 70mL for it this evening. I've seen people mention mixing their EBM with formula, but it didn't occur to me to think about HOW to do this. Do you just make up say 50mL of formula, and then add the EBM to it in the same bottle? Or do they mean "mix it" as in give both EBM and formula, but in different bottles? Thanks!!
(I'll just do the two different bottles thing tonight if no one answers in the next 10mins to be safe hehe, but will be good to know for future reference)

I've only heard of people doing it in two different bottles as the EBM is too precious to waste if baby doesn't finish the entire bottle if you've mixed it up in the same bottle together with formula.

Probably too late now for you but for future reference.

If you know how much baby usually takes then just mix the two - make up the formula as usual, and just use it to top up to the usual amount you'd give baby for the feed, make it predominantly EBM...ie you said you have 70mls ebm... just chuck the made-up formula in to make it up to what you need. but yeah as long as you don't mind if there's a little wastage, then it's fine to give them in the same bottle. (do it all the time at work)
