I have some nasty stains on some of my MF inserts. I have them hanging in the sun, but I think they will need more than that to look clean again. Can I bleach them??

Hmmmm, I would stay clear of bleach personally - I'd just keep them out in the sun whenever you can and the stains will eventually fade.

yeah I thought bleach might not be a good idea. I've bleached my pre-folds before, but nothing else. Maybe I will give them a soak in some nappisan.

Just wondering.. why do the stains matter on inserts? A couple of mine have stains but I don't care since it is just an insert that is hidden.

Hmmm, I've never really thought of that before. I don't know to be honest! I was just hanging them on the line this morning, and looking at them thinking they 'look' dirty

I have some that are grey in colour I don't care too much now as it is hidden.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

I agree Nicola, I wouldn't feel bad about the stains - you know they're clean and noone else see's what's inside
