Omg, I bought my first pair of maternity trousers!
It was so unreal.

Not really showing much yet, but my jeans are getting a bit uncomfortable during a whole day at work, so I thought I better be ready, I might need them soon.

For all you Christchurch ladies out there:
Pumpkin Patch has just opened a temporary store right next to Harvey Norman on Moorhouse Ave. They have quite a nice collection of maternity clothes and everything is on sale!
All trousers and skirts are $25,- and tops only $15,-

The lady told me they'll be there for 3 months, and they'll keep getting new stuff.

Just thought I'd let you know...

If you are in ChCh, there is also a great wee second hand maternity wear shop in Westminster St (on the westminster/cranford st cnr). They have great bargains and brilliant for work clothes which means that you can buy to fit nicely at each stage rather than having to buy to fit the whole way thru.

I use to own it but sold it. The new owners are lovely!

Wow, cool prices! In Palmy the prices are so high that I'm gonna make some of my own clothes this pregnancy. They'll fit better too Hope you enjoy those jeans!!

I know what you mean Busymum. I'm in palmy too and wound up at Stork the other day. I bought a pair of egg pants and two tops for nearly 2 hundy. Ouch. But I have to say they are SO comfortable and really well made. I wont have to buy work pants again for the whole time. And the tops double as BF tops.

Yup, I'm in Palmy and have had to buy some pants and a few tops...and ouch! Going to need to get more too, as time goes by. My work stuff just isn't fitting very well anymore.

Ah well.

Wow lots of Palmy people lately!
Danaj, just have to watch the maternity/bf tops as they have to cater for quite different belly sizes and don't always do the change well. Hope yours work out though, of course!!
