knowledgeable midwife

Hi guys,

I know there are plenty of forums out there that could tell me which MWs are good etc but most of the ones I have found are from about 3 or more years ago.
I am wanting to know if any one recommends any particular Midwife who can really explain things well and doesn't mind being overly cautious....I have a medical problem that can change day to day so need someone who wont say "oh its just a cold, you will be fine" and the next day I am back in hospital and fighting. I know I will have a special team up at the hospital but have any of you come across a midwife that has a great report and a special eye??

Any help will do, I am just wanting to know where to look and where NOT to look.

Agree about Katrina Symes- absolutely the best you could ask for. She is very good at explaining things, and makes you feel comfortable and not silly for asking!You will need to contact her pronto though- I know she gets booked up fast (she is also a close friend of mine! )
