No exaggeration I went to the loo hourly last night, I can't remember doing this with Ben although I may have a selective memory.

Is it second babyitus..? or is my bladder shot?

Nah, it's second (third, fourth ) babyitis!

To be a bit more technical, no matter whether you had a vaginal birth or a c-section, your pelvic floor muscles are weaker after having a baby (after all, they've had the extra weight of the baby, the placenta, and the amiotic fluid sitting on them for the last few months). I was told that even with appropriate exercises the best you can hope for is 97% of pre-baby tone... so having another baby (and the baby's accessories ) pushing on your pelvic floor again is more stressful sooner.

I've already started waking once a night needing to pee, and I'm not even through the first trimester yet!

I'm having my first Bubs... and most nights it is about 3 hourly like clockwork! But some nights it is almost hourly already... maybe those are the days where I drink tea or something (lol yay for diuretics), or maybe Bubs is just sitting in a position that puts more pressure on my bladder or something...

I was getting up more often with Josh.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!
