has you baby had a gastro bug for??

Josh is coming up 7 days now and is still vomiting and pooing like anything. He can't keep any food down and is living off water pedailyte and a tiny bit of formula.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

I am goin thru the same thing with Alize. He starting spewing last Thursday and hasnt stopped. He is also going the other end. I went back to the Gp AGAIN today and they just said continue with the hydration cares and give it a few more days to subside. I questioned the amount of time it was taking for him to get over it and he just said it is a good dose and sometimes it can take awhile to get over it. They only real worry is if he starts to dehydrate. I hope Josh gets better soon.

Thanks Vanessa, It defintely is a nasty one alright but you have given me hope it will eventually subside. Its just sooo hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel when there are explosions of all kinds coming at you left right and center. I have to say this "sensitive" behaviour that comes with it is wearing abit thin too. I am keeping my patients thou but boy is it hard when it goes on this long.

I'm feeling the same way as you Kels. I think I may be seeing the end of the tunnel. We tried Josh with some bread this morning and so far it has stayed down.

My son had is for ten days - at day 7 he ended up in starship. I would go back to the dr and just make sure he is not dehydrated as that is why Josh ended up in hospital.

Good luck. Hoe it clears up before Xmas
