I am thinking about setting up a small business that hires out party supplies (mostly wedding supplies) and also sells a small amount of party supplies. Im thinking small at the moment so would start with listing on trademe, sella etc.
Does anyone have a small home business? Is it more trouble then it is worth? Any tips/advice?
Do you have access to alot of that equipment already or will you be needing to purchase it all to start with? If your competitive you should do fine. I think any business will work if you run it the right way, but also any business is gonna be hard work also.......
I definetly would recommend doing a small business course if you can, it will help you with all the things you havent thought about and make it less stressful. I think stotts college do a small business course free
good luck, anythings got to better than working for a boss and being your own boss....
