I love my midwife!
First labour started in the birthing centre and ended up in hospital. The operating theatre staff took over, but the midwife stayed with us [my husband really appreciated this].
The second birth was in hospital as I didn't want another tranfer by ambulance! I had my midwife with me through that also, and no one else other than a student midwife came into the room.
If she'd been in another labour, I'd have been with another of the midwives on her team. I'd met all of them
so was happy with that scenario, but lucky for me I had my midwife for both
