I had anterior, first time I felt movement was 21w2d. I never got bubbles, it was a full on kick or punch and they hurt! I was greatful for the cushioning out front as I'm sure it helped absorb some of the impact as the baby got bigger.
I've got an anterior and it took quite some time for me to decide if what i was feeling was baby or not.
The best advice i was given was that the first movements feel like a fish nibbling on the end of a fishing line (thanks Kelly)
ETA i am now 30 weeks and have been getting full on kicks for quite some time and can see baby moving from the outside very easily. So dont worry you wont miss out on anything!
I have an anterior placenta too, but am unsure as to whether I have felt anything yet or not! Thought maybe I did the other day but now I'm not sure. i'm 18 weeks tomorrow...but yeah not expecting to feel much for another few weeks.
