Does anyone know of any doulas in the Waikato? I am starting to question my husband's usefulness as a birth partner, and don't have any close family in the region. I'm 35 weeks, so this is WAY too late, but worth looking into a little!

Are you doing antenatal classes? The teacher might have a contact for you (or the lady who took ours offered support herself).

Have you googled or searched FB perhaps? Perhaps you could even call some of the birth centres in Hamilton & ask them? Goodluck :)

Try contacting Simone at Maternal Journey. She's lovely and sure to have some ideas. I think she might even do birth support herself (if she did, I'd 100% reccommend her).
