lol Kiwigal.. what i find most funny is that prem clothes are made short and fat.. 99% of prem babies and tall/long and skinny so go get stuff to fit them in length you end up with plenty of body baggy room, lol. hence tops and pants are great as they accomodate a little better for different body lengths
Has anyone heard of the prem society (or similar name) that lend clothes? My aunty down in Timaru was talking about them, but don't know if they just do it down there or not (I'm in Chch). I *may* be going down the same route as Topsy, but don't want to shell out for premmie clothes!
Contact your local multiple birth club Emz, they'll have details as a lot of multiples are born prem.
I never bothered with prem clothes for the gremlins who were 36-weekers but not really prem weights (6lb8oz and 7lb1oz), I did think about getting some but figured if they were prem they would be in NICU and not need clothes as such, and by the time they came home they would fit 0000. They went straight into 0000 and were in 000 by 6 weeks old.
