its $70 there abouts to join St. John for a year and then the ambulance is free - can double check the price for anyone interested but we've done it for years and is certainly a weight off our minds as we've needed one on a few occasions

Awww thanks guys, he had some breathing difficulties but he's all good now and LOVED the ambulance trip. I think it's only about $40 to join 1 person and a bit more for the family.. from memory of the info they sent us with the bill... Maybe I should do it, my last bub was a close call too and I only live 10 mins from the hosp!! Thankfully my midwife lives really close..
