my son is due to get these removed and i forgot to ask if its day surgery..........he had grommets and adnoids and that was day so is tonsilits the same or do they stay overnight?

I stayed overnight, but I had mine out when I was 18 and there were some minor complications. The wee ones that had theirs done on the same morning as me went home that afternoon.

My DS6 had to stay overnight, i think only due to his sleep apnea (sp??) a 2yr old was in for the same op tho and went home a few hour after the op.

they asked about asthma and she noted in hospital previuous for stopping breathing so im expecting overnight.........wow how is that gonna work with a BF baby aswell.........do i ask for a cot for her and then she comes out with some other bug.......nice
