I think Kryssi has chicken pox. She came out with rashy spots all over first, now she has blisters on her knees and the 'maturest' one of them has a black dimple in the middle. It looks like chicken pox to me. I think it's good to get over with, but there's probably never a "convenient" time to get them!
Anyway, it looks like she's getting some on her bottom. I'm not sure if it's spots from wees or pox IYGWIM. What shall I do about that? I guess wees stings so frequent nappy changes are good, anything else?
At which point do you take poxy kids to the dr and get cream for them? Only if it's bad?

i would take her to the docs now before it gets too bad so she isnt so upset at the docs..and then you can get it properly diagnosed, just in case...

I would also take her on the remote chance it's not the Pox too, you can get appropriate treatment for whatever it is then

Yep, I say docs too, but it does sound like the pox The most fun part comes in about 2 weeks when the other two get them (or have they had them already?)

At least you'll get it over with all at once. I clung to that when the gremlins got them after Maya. And then got pregnant again

Yea lol I'm kinda hoping for pg again too, hopefully everything works out
My mum came around today but she heard we had pox so she didn't come in. She was going to pick something out of the letterbox but I didn't know, so when I got home I brought it inside. Did she knock? No! Very rarely someone can catch pox twice, you know!!! *rolls eyes*

Thats a bit slack! I'm not scared of the pox lol, in fact I almost *hoped* my kids would get it over and done with and I'm glad they did.

when Brooke got the chickhen pox at 5 months - got told to only use Pinetarsol NOT calamine lotion as calamine lotion dries it out and can leave heaps of scaring and doesn't really make that much difference. Brooke had around 5 pinetarsol baths a day - would just sit her in her baby bath in the lounge with it in there. Go to the dr to confirm chickhen pox (although may best to wait for a few more spots to appear so they can definately tell) and get a prescript for Pinetarsol (the bigger the better especially if the other 2 get it)

DH took her to the doctor today - after you guys advice and also cause they seemed to have stopped already? - and the dr reckons they are viral but not chicken pox. At least we have the all clear and don't have to stay home for three weeks!!
And LOL @ my mum after this turn of events!
