Topic: query about return of AF? Posted: 22 June 2008 at 10:07am |
So I had my first period since Chloe was born, about 5 weeks ago now. How regular did all of you girls get your period, when it returned?

Mine went straight back to a 28 day cycle. After the second one I went straight back on the pill, so it made things easier for all concerned

I had one when Jack was about 9ish weeks old and I'm currently on CD100+ (stopped counting). BUT: I was never regular and could go a year or two between periods. I still took 3 HPT's though as I didn't get a BFP with Jack until I was 6 1/2 weeks pg. Just to be on the safe side and so I could have my glass of red without feeling guilty!

I've had 2 periods now - 33 days apart, and only 1.5 days long (woohoooo). Will be interesting to see if that lasts. I'm still bf. I used to have a 28 day cycle.

Mine settled back into a 26-28 day pattern but I didn't get mine back till I stopped BFing so that might have made a difference.

I have had 3 now and they started just before I stopped BF when we were down to one small feed before bathtime. Mine have been 28, 29 and 26 days. As I was on the pill for 10+ yrs before we had Jack I am not really sure what normal is for me!

I have had my period once since Lauren was born. I got it when she was about 3 months old and I haven't had it again. I only gave up b/f one month ago though so I am guessing that is why mine is taking its time, i am definately NOT pregnant

Ya Peachy, when I read that you had jinx yourself I thought you were going to say you were pregnant!!!!! LOL
My AF isn't regular at all I was a 28 day cycle before getting pregnant, I've had two AF's so far and they are all over the place. I'm still BFing, so I don't know if that's got something to do with it.

Did a preggy test, it's negative!! So now I guess I just have to wait for AF to show up again... I'll be glad if it doesn't for a while except I will probably get paranoid again! Maybe I should keep a drawer full of PTs, lol.
