Keira was BF untill 18 months. I started dropping feeds at 1 and by 18 months we were down to one feed in the morning which i stopped because i was sick of waking up early in the morning to feed her when she wasnt even hungry. It took maybe one day of her waking and me putting her to sleepwithout feeding and that was it. I was the one to drop each feed but she never seemed to mind so was proabably only feeding cos I made her.

I BF Ayja whenever i was with her up till about 14 mths when it got a bit too hectic with final placement and had to kinda cut out most of the day feeds and only do night time. Then i think she was about 16mths ish when i sat state exams and went out with mates and wanted to have a drink and she was only having a couple of feeds per night at that stage (which she could have been sleeping thru anyway had i not given in to feeding her to get her back to sleep) So i had my drink, couldn't be bothered expressing off the dud-milk, so didn't and of course that was it.
She was kinda forcibly weaned due to circumstances with study otherwise i beleive she fully would have kept going as long as i kept offering it.

I am still b/f Ella and still works well for both of us (i work 2 days a week so she has a bottle of formula then, as it is too hard expressing now). I was planning on wearning her when she turned 1, but hey if it works for us why stop (also I am too lazy to make up the bottles for her). Now I am planning on feeding her until she self wearns (but I can't see that happening anytime soon) or when she turns 2 .

Elle weaned herself at 14 months. She didn't ask, I didn't go out of my way to offer and that was that. I was down to 1 feed by then and it was so easy and natural for both of us.

Still breastfeeding one feed in the morning. Nightfeeding I stopped at 11 months by just rocking her as soon as she started stirring and within a week all of that stopped and as she gave up I didnt offer. We had no crying as such or anything.

my first went to 14 months, and i was 2 mths pregnant when we stopped. at that stage he just had one feed and that was last thing at night...and on the last day of jan i substituted a milo for breast and he was fine with that.
My second child went to 26mths and again i was 2 mths pregnant when i stopped. he was mostly just having a morning feed and it was starting to get sore so i told him it was for the new baby now and just distracted him with breakfast instead. as someone else said tho i think that if i hadnt of decided myself he would still be going...

i feed indie until she was about 13-14 months, she stopped as i was 7-8 months pregnant then and i think she just went 'off' it.... it was harder for me then her... hopefully this second bubs (when it actually decides to come meet us..i am currently 5 days overdue as i write this!!) i can feed a bit longer
oh...and she was a stubborn wee thing and never took a bottle so i just have to make sure she gets her calcium from other sources!!

I fed DD1 until 15 months. She had started dropping feeds from 1 year and we were down to a feed in the morning and a feed at night by 15 months, I had planned to go until at least 18 months, possibly 2 years if she still wanted it, but by that time I was five months pregnant and finding it hard to keep my energy up, I couldn't eat enough and was tired all the time, so figured she was better off being weaned and having a happy, energetic mummy! So she weaned herself a bit from 12-15months but I weaned her to finish it up.

Luke has just weaned himself at 15 months.. thought he would BF forever so it was great he decided to stop. He's intolerant to cow's milk so on protein/ calcium enriched rice milk which is working out well.
I wanted to BF till at least 18 months but so happy to get this far!
