For future reference if you want to avoid nappy rash and plan to go without nappy wipes and use wet flannels instead. What we do is keep a supply of baby flannels in a small bucket of water with a few drops of tea tree oil, then just take them out as you need them at nappy change time. Change the water daily. Works a treat. Of course plent of air time too.

I'm glad it wasn't nappy rash, it was thrush and seems to have almost gone now we have the right cream. Will continue to use it for the full seven days.

TrudandEm, yeah we use flannels alot now and air time happens after almost every change.
