Emily has had a snuffly nose since she was born we guessed it was cause we all had cold's etc, but is is still there does not seem to be affecting feeding just wonderting how common it is for a young baby to have this. She sound's like she is snorting all the time,

We had snuffly noses here too. When we left NICU we were told it was common as they would be exposed to dust and other normal but new stuff. I can't remember how long it lasted though.

Aoife was a bit worse though but this was because she had a tendency to spill through her nose which left her consistently congested.

I also thought they often sound snuffly initially because their noses are so small that just breathing causes quite a lot of turbulence.

Ollie was definitely snuffly for a long time although he is formula fed and my GP says FF babies are anecdotally more mucousy.

Yep Ava (who is nearly 7 weeks old) is quite mucusy especially at night.

david has a snuffly nose too, ok he only 9 days old, but his is snotty. i know for pre schoolers they say 6-8 weeks, not sure what it is for babies sorry debs. if you worried y not call healthline & ask them? 0800 611 116
