somewhere i read that if they refuse the bottle, it's best to wait 30mins or so before BFing them, as otherwise they might associate refusing the bottle with getting milk from the source! and hence will just keep on refusing...

I think mum said to me ages ago about this and it has alot to do with bub still being able to smell mum so maybe if you can get somone else to try giving bub the bottle that might help. Maybe try propping them up with pillows too.

This seems to be a comon issue for lots of people these days so while i totally agree with the fact that you do what is best for you and babe . I do think that if you can introduce abottle early on then it will help if a situation like this pops up. It just saves the stress for both of you.
