Sorry for TMI but I am really confused
I stopped bleeding after about 3 weeks post birth and then last Tuesday I got AF (what I think was AF) it lasted 3 days (gone on Friday) then a couple of days later (Sunday) it started again but does not really seem like AF???? and it has been going ever since. Its not heavy, just on & off and I have no pain.
Could this be the bleeding starting up again? Or an unusual first AF? Anyone had this.
Oh and I started the mini pill on the Tuesday that I got AF so have been on it 1.5 weeks.

I bleed on and off for the full six weeks. Then stat pill and bleed for the first week of that so it could be continued bleeding or it could be the pill.

It's probably still from the birth.
I also bled on and off for about 7 weeks. I got what I thought was an AF about a month after Jackson was born, but now I think it was a break, then a restart, in the bleeding, as AF didn't come back after that.
Am dreading its arrival now I have stopped breast feeding.

i had the same thing. Stopped bleeding and then a couple weeks later started again. then stopped for 3months. Wouldn't worry about it unless you get any clots or really heavy bleeding, or if it smells fishy.

I bled on and off for 8 weeks, sometimes 2 weeks later. then i kept bleeding every 2 weeks which I think was caused by the mini pill.

It's either continued postnatal bleeding, or (I suspect this is actually the case) minipill issues, in which case I think it will settle in time. Ask your GP if you have any questions about it.
