Hi,

Fairly sure DH is teething, today we are grumpy and not as easy to settle, bright red cheeks, dribble, but then there is always dribble.

Doe it affect their apetite though, he normally drinks around 15 - 180, but is dropping right back to 100-120?

And what do you recommend giving them to help?

Yeah it can affect their appetite.

There's lots of things to try like..
- bonjela
- teethmed spray
- pamol if its really bad
- amber teething necklace
- letting him chew of suck on a cold cloth or teether

If Finley is anything like our Jacob these 'sign's will come and go for a while longer yet. Jacob is now over 7 months and still hasn't teethed altho we were sure based on similar signs finely is getting that Jacob was going to teeth a number of times but we're still wiating. He's going through another one of those stages now so fingers crossed this time it actually might produce a tooth or two soon

Great, thanks, I gave him Pamol just now as he had a bit of a temp too.

Do the symptoms stay around for days and then go again, he has had it before but not with the glowing red cheeks.

The symptoms can come and go as the teething flares up and then settles again. The temperature is probably something else though. Dominic always gets some sort of virus when he is teething as their immune system weakens when they are teething.

It does sound like teething although once I thought Jayden was teething and he also went off his food and was grizzly he also developed a temp and ended up with a UTI - so keep any on that temp may be something else

Whoops - although with his man flu he is dribbling.

Yes we have a teething necklace unsure whether it does much. He isn't that unhappy just a bit off colour and with his temp and the state of his very very red cheeks earlier I thought he should be screaming, so maybe it helps a bit - who knows, but too scared to take it off in case it is helping.

I found teethmed spray brillant as you didnt' need to stop & clean your finger to rub it on the gums. Alia got to the stage that she'd see the bottle & open up for it to be sprayed.

Any pharmacy that sells homeopathics should have it. I only know of it in the Naturo Pharm brand but other brands may have something similar
