Topic: TMI Question.... Periods? Posted: 06 February 2009 at 6:16pm |
How long did it take you to get yours back? I'm starting to get a little worried coz with Alex & Blaire it came back straight away.
So far Erika is 8 months old & not a single sign of it.... I'm not complaining as such but just wondering if that is normal? Also my grandmother had menopause arrive at 28 so was wondering if that could be it? The start of menopause?

are you still b/feeding? coz if you are then that will make a difference. Ella is still being b/f and I got mine back when we was around 10/11 months.

It can take a wee while after you stop feeding... Mine took a month after cutting down to one feed for a month... so basically two months

Well I am still breastfeeding but I was doing that with my boys & I still got my period back straight away
I don't know, just wondering I guess coz its not what I am used to.... Been nearly a year & a half since I've had it so if/when it arrives its probably going to be horrid!

I didnt get mine back till 23/24 mths with Anastasia and was breast feeding till bout 20/22 mths cant quite remember. When it did come back it wasn't much heavier but I had changed from 31 day cycle back to 28 day. With Ashly I got it back within about 8 weeks so I guess each one is different

I'm still breast feeding my little man and he's coming up 2years, i got my period back when he was exactly 10 months old. Some women can go longer without it returning, some get it earlier than that 10 month mark despite still breastfeeding. No rhyme or reason really, but if you're breastfeeding it can tend to hold off on returning for a wee bit longer Be grateful lol! Mine came back with a vengeance 10 x worse than beforehand but that's just bad luck on my behalf
