I've eaten/drunk some pretty strong stuff over the last couple of days & Cooper is really performing tonight.

How long if I eliminate everything from my diet will it take to come through/clear the breastmilk?

I'm not sure but you could have a lot of water and express off the top of what you have.

Gosh only 5 days.....you are more preg than i've ever been

I had hoped drinking a ton of water yesterday & today would have helped but it didn't seem to.

Depends on what the problem is, if it's reflux, it can take up to a week for the damage to heal so even if you eliminate the cause, the damage can persist for a few days. I think it's generally recommended to trial it for two weeks and see what the results are like after 2 weeks.

Not sure if it's reflux, he's not spilling any more than normal, it's the screaming, beating/scratching at my boob & the whimpering. He's been crying at the boob over the last few evenings & I've been eating more cheese than usual.

I had cranberry juice yesterday to clear the start of a UTI, wasn't going back to the Dr as I've have it up to my eyeballs with stuff going on downstairs. Then last night I had instant pudding which is more dairy that I ever have. I had hoped that drinking a sh*t load of water would counteract the juice.

Good thing is UTI is gone but have the screaming baby instead, maybe I should have gone for antib's

Pretty sure It's not a lack of milk as there was a heap there.

hmm.. I had a curry for dinner (very mild but didn't make a difference) that Tayla didn't like and my mw came the next afternoon for our normal appointment, I asked her how long it takes for the curry to be out of my milk and she said it'd be out by now.

Lots of different answers but she didn't have the yucky poos that night so it must have went through the milk pretty quickly.

Yeah I think if it is a one off of something you have eaten it should go through pretty quick but if you think there is a problem with something like dairy then they normally recommend eliminating for minimum 2 weeks to see if it makes a difference. I suppose with newbies it would be quite hard to tell if it made a difference after only a day or two because they can have crazy unsettled periods for no apparent reason so you need to see a consistent improvement and like Maya said there could also be some healing that needs to be done before a difference is seen.

I'm wondering if it might be to do with the 9 week growth spurt?

I had more milk tonight & he was fine or that my milk is tasty again?
