Hi,
Don't stress about baby still waking up. Waking once isn't too bad. I have a friend whose son when 2 was still waking 4 to 5 times a night!! http://www.thesleepstore.co.nz/index.html has some great sleep tips. The percentage of babies sleeping through at 3 months is not that high. Alot don't go through until they start solids. Dr told me this was so that they were getting the extra calories to get them through the night.
One of the reasons that I didn't go to Plunket is that alot of the nurses try to put the babies in little boxes and say they should do this then and that then. (I don't doubt that there are great nurses out there too...) Best advice - just go with your gut. If you feel she is getting enough to drink already, don't stress. But I agree with the not forcing!
Dream feeds don't work for all babies - hopeless for my first 2, but the last one loved them! So feel for you with the expressed milk. Did that with Cayley for 3 months! It is HARD work, as you are effectively feeding twice at every feed! Got it down to a fine art, baby in boucer, one hand on bottle, other on expressing! You have my admiration.
Just remember that if you love her & doing it with love, you will be doing the right thing.
Good luck.
