how your attitude and thoughts about extended breastfeeding change once it happens to you!!!
lol was thinking in particular about a certain friend who couldnt see the point in feeding toby past one or past the age when they asked for it!!!

well done you! nice to have you on this side of the fence!

Lol, when I was pregnant I thought I'd breast feed until 6 months to give her a good start. But yep, well, still going!!

Edited to add - my DP had the biggest laugh yesterday when my daughter turned around, put one hand on each boob (I was sitting on the floor) and said "booby!" He is more comfortable with me breastfeeding now then he was at 2 months...

Ha ha, yes Very much on that side of the fence, herself is showing no signs of letting go of her "booby" ...

I breastfed my daughter till she was 19.5 months it was her decison to wean.

I did the do not offer not refuse method from about 15/16 months (I did still feed her if she woke at night).

I do like that Megan decided she didnt want it anymore although it is sad and me being pregnant probably did influence that.

I really didn't think I would feed Caitlyn past two weeks , I HATED it , I didn't realise it could hurt and I thought I was doing it wrong .
But once it started to feel better, and once my friend said "but Kelly , she IS feeding , look " , I loved it , and fed her for 13 months , I would have fed longer, but she self weaned , and I wasn't going to force it .
I'll feed Ty for as long as I can , and I hope its a while

...Just adding in here, my fave bf moment with C was when we were in bed together , she was around 9 months , I fell asleep and woke up to find her giving herself a feed, got a hell of a flight ,but was soooo cute
