Hi all

What kind of volumes of formula are your 3.5 months old drinking per bottle and how often?

Reason i ask is that Ashley seems to want to be a snacker - smaller volumes more often and wanted to compare to others

Thanks in advance

We went through a phase where DS would at most drink about 80-120 tops and wanted to do so every 2 hours no matter what i did.

All of a sudden a few weeks later he started to stretch it out and take more. I don't believe we did anything different.

Have you changed/checked teat size, that caused us issues and we had to go up a size each time.

She is on anti reflux formula so has to have it through a fast flow teat otherwise it is like sucking custard through a pin hole LOL

She is wanting about 130mls every couple of hours - i went for a walk when she thought she was hungry and she dropped off and then took 180mls on our return (so three hours since last feed) but now she has wanted another feed (2 hours between feeds..) she barely sleeps during the day so maybe she just wants them more often as she is awake and alert so often

Thanks for your thoughts though FionaO - it helps to know someone else has had the same thing

my bub is 3.5 months and on anti-reflux formula as well. he eats 5 feeds of 3 scoops. that's 180ml of water with 3 scoops so equals about 200ml i think. different brand formulas are different amounts as well though so that it just for S-26 AR. every now and then he will eat a 6th bottle, maybe every few days.

Daniel's varies feed to feed. He is meant to have 200mls 5 times per day. He has the 5 feeds but drinks anywhere from 80mls to 200mls per feed. He rarely does 200mls. He mostly does about 140 per feed.
